Job Description

Financial  Controĺler , Interways Works Limited.

Reports to: Managing Director

Job Purpose:

We are looking for highly organized candidates with good quantitative  ability for the position of a Financial Controller.

Duties/Responsibilities · 

Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P,  GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue  Recognition ·

Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and  financial forecasts and report variances

  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements · Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
  • Manage and comply with government reporting requirements and  tax filings
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting  policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls ·         Additional controller duties as necessary   Requirements ·        Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Full accounting qualifications CPA (K)
  • Hands on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks  and Tally ERP
  • Experience with general ledger functions
  • Excellent knowledge in GAAP and Banking Operations
  • Strong Attention to detail and Analytical Skills
  • High Level of Accuracy
  • Excellent Communication & organizational skills · Leadership & Team management
  • Must be able to manage time effectively and also meet/beat  deadlines
  • Any other relevant certification will be a plus.
  • Experience in construction industry will be an added advantage A minimum of 6 years’ work experience as a Financial Controller or in a  similar role. Must be Available to start immediately
